My mom used to call me Pawikan.
Filipino Definition of Pawikan: http://tl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pawikan
English Definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_turtle
Literally, it means sea turtle. However, in our place, it can be used to refer to a person who always cry even for small things. Yeah, I can cry easily as much as I can smile or laugh. Yes, I am very sensitive which can be both a weakness or a strength.
While I am growing up, I tried to hide my emotions as much as possible but it is stressful and hard.
This trait gives me the strength to help people in need and to be sensitive to any relationships I get in (friends, lovers, family). Hiding it can be hard and it can portray me being insensitive and cold.
Anyway, I just remembered this while doing my assignment.
I am half way through it and I thought that I can be a turtle! Moving slowly but surely completing what I need to do :)
Funny that it relates to another type of turtle within me. :)
Ok, time to start the second half of the assignment!
